Scott Riddell(Rowing, GYMstick, Circuit, Swissball, P/T, On Water) - Scott has been rowing at State and National level for the past 18 years and continues to do so at the Essendon Rowing Club. Scott's coaching record includes crews winning medals at the 2004 Australian Championships with the junior female squad at Essendon, HOSG gold medal in Open Single Scull and more recently coached the Victorian Mens Master Quad Scull to 2 gold medals at the 2008 and 2009 Masters Australian Rowing Championships. His passion for rowing and fitness in life has been the backbone and foundation to developing ERGfitTM.
Tamara McPherson (Rowing, GYMstick, Circuit, Swissball, P/T, On Water) - Tamara, too, has been a member of Essendon Rowing Club for the past 15 years and continues to row at State and National level. Her rowing efforts in 2008 produced 3 Gold and 2 Silver at the National Masters titles. Tamara was recently been appointed coach for the Victorian U18 Female Quad scull which raced in New Zealand in April. She has also spent time rowing surfboats and coaching nippers. Having rowed as a lightweight, Tamara has knowledge and experience with weight management and improved eating strategies.
Kate Hutchison (Rowing) - Kate, also known as "Hutchi" to her friends, is also a member of Essendon Rowing Club. In 2004, Kate won the Under 23 Women's Coxless Pairs at the Australian Championships and represented Australia in the same event at the World Rowing Championships. Kate is a high school teacher and is passionate about children’s health.
Bernadette Purton (Rowing) - Bernadette has been involved in sport at a national level since the age of 12. Rowing soon took over from netball for the next 8 years in Ballarat. Health and fitness has been her passion since and has been in the industry for the past 6 years. She is a massage therapist for several sporting clubs. ERGfitTM has bought back her passion for the "Erg".
Tanya Cates (Pilates) - Tanya has vast experience in the fitness industry from a variety of fields that stretch over a 15 year period. These include lecturing, instructing group exercise along with over 4 years of teaching Pilates. Tanya's passion and love for good health is evident in her bubbly and energetic approach to life. Tanya is also completing her PHD in childhood physical activity and interests include dance, music and surfing.
Michelle Augustynek (Circuit, Rowing, PT) - Michelle has been competing in a variety of sports since the age of 9 including judo, netball, swimming, running and dancing. Michelle took a liking to triathlons which she competed at National level for 5 years. She is now competing in athletics to allow for her university schelude inwhich she is studying exercise science at Vic Uni
Sarah Griffin (Reception) - Sarah is a current member of Essendon Rowing Club and has been successful at National level winning Silver and Bronze medals in Under 19 - Junior. Sarah has now diverted her rowing skills to rowing surfboats. Representing Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club, Sarah placed 4th in the U23 event at the 2008 National Championships. Sarah is studying her final year in Mechanical Engineering, volunteers her time as a lifeguard over the summer months and is also a rowing coach with Lowther Hall AGS.
Demi Konstantilakis (Reception) - Demi is currently studying at Lowther Hall AGS and is interested in Physical Education and Fashion and Design. She envisages working in one of these industries in the future. Aside from studying, Demi is involved in a variety of sports including hockey, athletics, snowsports and rowing. Demi has been the snowsports captain for the past 4 years, has represented her school in rowing, has competed at the Australian Indoor Rowing Championships and is a member of Footscray City Rowing Club. Her hockey skills gained her selection into several teams including U17 and Open womens.
Edwina Banks (Reception) - Edwina is also a sports enthusiast with rowing as her No. 1 sport. Edwina started her rowing career with Caulfield Grammar School and continues to support the school with her expert coaching skills. Edwina is a Level 1 coach and is now in her 4th season coaching. She is a member of Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club, volunteering her time as a lifegaurd and is an avid surf boat rower. When she is not rowing or coaching, Edwina spends her time studying for her final year in Interia Architecture and works part time in Interia Design.
Sabrina Romano (Reception) - Sabrina is currently studying doing a Bachelor of Education with majors in Health and P.E. with plans to be a P.E teacher at primary level. Sabrina has also completed a Diploma of Fitness and is a qualified Personal Trainer. Sabrina also works at an after school care program where she conducts physical activities and sports with primary and secondary school students. She enjoys watching the footy on the weekends, GO THE TIGERS!
